The Wellington Environmental Preserve at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Everglades Habitat is home to a huge variety of wildlife and is a peaceful escape for people (and horses on the 3.6 mile-equestrian trail). Climb the 5-story lookout tower, bike, run, skip or walk on the paved paths and take in all the beauty this 365-acre rainwater storage area has to offer. Don’t forget to check out the large decorative trellis! A perfect place for your children to wind down and have fun running off some energy after a long day sitting at school!
