Trail and Observation Tower – Boca Raton

Jacob’s Tower recently opened in Gumbo Limbo Nature Center in Boca Raton.  Accessible via a boardwalk, you will first walk through a preserved Tropical Hardwood Hammock before ascending 40 feet on an ADA accessible 700-foot-switchback ramp to the top. At the pinnacle you will enjoy a birds-eye view of Boca Raton’s barrier island, the lush forest, views of the Intracoastal Waterway, and wildlife that can be seen only above the quiet hammock. For those who wish, you can continue following the boardwalk to Red Reef Park for beautiful views of the Intracoastal Waterway. Open 7 a.m. to sunset year-round.
