Tots on Trails – Jupiter

Designed for little ones, this program developed by the River Center will help your child develop a love of nature as he or she explores new natural areas each month in Jupiter/Tequesta. In August, the group meets at 10 a.m. at the North Jupiter Flatwoods Natural Area (adjacent to Jupiter Community Park) in Jupiter in the Natural Area parking lot. Staff will walk the trail, observe plants and animals with magnifying glasses and binoculars, and teach the children about the surrounding nature. Additional activities may include scavenger hunts, trail games and nature art. Come prepared to be outside for an hour. Wear comfortable clothing, closed toe shoes, hats, sunscreen, bug spray and water bottles. Limited to 20 children and their accompanying adults. Reservations required.
