Snook Islands Natural Area - Lake Worth Beach

Stretching 1.2 miles from downtown Lake Worth Beach's Lake Avenue into the Lake Worth Lagoon, the Snook Islands are a wonderful boardwalk oasis in the middle of the city. Oyster reefs line the shoreline. Once a dead zone where nothing grew or lived, it was rehabbed by Environmental Resources Management and is now a natural area filled with fascinating wildlife like the oystercatcher birds and marine life. Suggested stay is 2 to 3 hours. Open 365 days a year from sunrise to sunset. Don’t forget your binoculars! Restrooms available at Bryant Park.
