Seining the Intracoastal (8/31) – Boca Raton

Families, get up close and personal with the local marine life at Gumbo Limbo Nature Center in Boca Raton! At this fun event, you will wade in the Intracoastal Waterway just behind Gumbo Limbo where you will catch and release fish, shrimp, crabs and more with hand-held dip nets and large seine nets. Closed-toe shoes required (old sneakers or water shoes; no sandals). Bring a change of clothes and towel. Parent/guardian must register and participate with minors. Residents are $15; non-residents are $19.
