Marsh Critters: Dipnetting (7-22) – West Palm Beach

The marsh comes alive in the palm of your child’s hand as he or she discovers the amazing aquatic insects and other small wonders that call the wetlands home at Grassy Waters Preserve in West Palm Beach. A parent/guardian must enter water with their child. Wear closed-toe shoes that can get wet and muddy and fit tightly enough not to be pulled off by the mud (water shoes or old sneakers are best). Wear sun protection and bring a water bottle, towel, and full change of clothes. Reservations required. $10 per child; accompanying adult, free.  Please check into the nature center 15 minutes prior to start time.
