La Sylphide Ballet – Boca Raton

La Sylphide - one of the oldest ballets still performed - will be at the Countess de Hoernle Theatre at Spanish River High School in Boca Raton, performed by the Boca Ballet Theatre. Principal dancers in this fun production are Emma Von Enck and Anthony Huxley. The Saturday night ballet begins at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday afternoon performance starts at 2 p.m. This full-length, two-act ballet lasts for approximately two hours and includes an intermission. The fanciful story is about a man who gives up his fiancée for a beautiful, winged sylph and too late realizes he gave up everything for an unobtainable love. Tickets are $55 for adults; $45 for seniors and children.
