May 11, 2024 | 09:00 AM
This lesson at the Jupiter Inlet Outstanding
Natural Area in Jupiter will focus on the eerie effects of erosion to our
shores and coastlines and discuss ways to mitigate erosion damage. The class
will be looking as sites where erosion is a big issue and areas where living
shorelines were installed to reduce erosion damage. Students will take part in
erosion demos, pot mangroves, and take home an erosion experiment. This is an
off-site program. Closed-toe shoes and water bottle are required. RSVP
to attend. Space is limited.
