City Nature Challenge – South Florida

The City Nature Challenge is a fun, international effort for people to find and document plants and wildlife. South Florida (SoFl) is competing against 400 cities across the globe, and we want to win! This first weekend is Bioblitz Weekend and all about wildlife observations. All you have to do is step out your door and make observations within our South Florida boundary (Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe counties) this coming weekend (4/26-4/29). Participate with the iNaturalist app, where you take and upload pictures of plants, animals and fungi. When you upload your photo, identify the species to the best of your ability. If in doubt, leave the photo unidentified because, the following weekend, naturalists and peers will help you with identification. For more information, email, conservation@frostscience.org.
