Celebrate Tanabata (The Japanese Star Festival) – Wellington

Tanabata is celebrated by writing wishes on pieces of colorful paper, called Tanzaku, and attaching them to bamboo branches or "Wish Trees" in the hopes that wishes come true. Have fun hanging your wish from July 1- 7 at one of the displays at Village Hall, Village Park or the Wellington Community Center, all in Wellington. Check the website for more information.
